TERRE Policy Centre, IOI Ocean Academy-India Programme, and International Ocean Institute with collective efforts are conducting online educative sessions for the people of India on Ocean Literacy: Know Your Planet Beyond the Land. The basic aim of conducting these sessions is to provide information about oceans in simple language, provide an understanding of the importance of oceans to the World, impacts of human activities, ways of living sustainably with the ocean and awareness about the Indian Coastal Regions along with the ocean biodiversity of India.
The online IOI Ocean Academy Course is of 20:00 hours over a period of 10 days and with no financial cost for the participants. On completion of the course, the participants are awarded a certificate.
If all people excavate the pond and gardens of the old stepwell or gets it rebuilt anew, we all will get the fruits of constructing new water bodies and planting new gardens. Protection of nature biodiversity should be our first priority
